Pueblo of Sandia Child Development Center

The Pueblo of Sandia Child Development Center (CDC) provides premier early childhood care and education exclusively for enrolled tribal members from six weeks through five years of age. Operating within a brand-new state-of-the-art facility, that features an innovative design equipped with a dedicated Tiwa language classroom, a children’s library, a maker space, and a specialized sensory room. Both the early childhood and comprehensive kindergarten programs utilize research-based curricula and routine developmental assessments to track progress, customize instruction, and ensure all students meet critical cognitive, social, and physical milestones.

To qualify for the kindergarten program, students must turn five years of age on or before September 1st of the current academic year. Families looking to initiate registration or learn more about admissions criteria can contact the CDC Administrator directly.
